AFI Information

The band AFI (A Fire Inside) was formed in 1991 while the members were in high school. They disbanded to attend different colleges. They reunited to perform a live show and decided to drop out of college and play in the band full-time. Starting out as a punk band their sound evolved over time. After a number of vinyl EPs and some lineup changes AFI changed their musical approach. The most recent release 2006's Decemberundergroundfeatures more electronic, pop and New Wave elements. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

Current members include Davey Havok, Jade Puget, Hunter Burgan, and Adam Carson. Havok and Carson are part of the original lineup. The band was formed in Ukiah, California. They have seven albums and are featured in dozens of compilations.
