Monty Pythons Spamalot Tickets

Spamalot is officially dubbed Monty Pythons Spamalot: A new musical lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In addition to the Shubert Theatre in New York Monty Python's Spamalot tickets are available for the Cadillac Palace in Chicago and National Theater in Washington D.C. The Bendum Center in Pittsburgh, the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, and the Hippodrome Performing Arts Center in Baltimore all have Monty Python's Spamalot tickets available as well. Las Vegas is said to be the next frontier for Monty Python's Spamalot.

The winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, Spamalot tells the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table as they embark on a comical quest for the Holy Grail. Where else can you see beautiful show girls, cows, killer rabbits, and French people all in one play? But do the comic absurdities of the Broadway show Spamalot live up to the film which provided fodder for this Broadway musical, Monty Python and the Holy Grail? You have to see Spamalot to decide. The Broadway performances of Spamalot, scheduled to star Hank Azaria, Simon Russell Beale, and David Hyde Pierce at the Shubert Theatre, are said to rival the original British funny men.

Directed by Tony and Academy Award winner Mike Nichols and featuring music and lyrics by Eric Idle and John du Prez, Spamalot promises to be an unforgettable Broadway production. Spamalot won a total of three Tony Awards in 2005. Eric Idle, one of the writers of the screenplay for the film, also wrote the book and lyrics for Spamalot. Eric Idle was a writer and actor in the Monty Python TV series who went on to write books, plays, a screenplay and tour the U.S. solo before devoting his talents to Spamalot.

Spamalot theater tickets on Broadway have been in high demand since it opened in March 2005. The lavish Renaissance style interior of the Shubert Theatre is a perfect setting for "Spamalot." If you're looking for laughs, tickets to Spamalot can end your quest. "They are going to have to reupholster the seats at the Shubert once a week, that's how hard you'll be laughing," writes critic Joel Siegel.

Spamalot plans a stop at the National Theatre in Washington D.C. Expect to see Spamalot open in London and Las Vegas as well.
