Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Information

John Lithgow, Norbert Leo Butz, and Sherie Rene Scott played the lead roles at the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Broadway opening in 2005. Based on the 1988 film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the musical features music and lyrics by David Yazbek and a book by Jeffrey Lane. The Imperial Theatre hosts the production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Jack O'Brien directs and Jerry Mitchell Choreographs. Norbert Leo Butz won a Tony Award for his performance as a Leading Actor in 2005.

The plot revolves around a wager. Two con men decide who will get rights to work a town on the French Riviera by betting who will be first to cheat their female target out of $50,000. The musical comedy keeps the audience laughing and singing through all the crooked twists in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
