The musical review Beach Blanket Babylon is a spoof of pop culture that has evolved over time. You'll yell "Bingo!" if you are looking for a zany show that breaks all the rules of decorum because Beach Blanket Babylon leaves no pop icon alone. The show is in its 30th year but it continually changes to poke fun at everything from current events to celebrity spoofs. Hilarious parodies of popular icons are a hallmark of the show. Adding new characters and songs throughout the year, Beach Blanket Babylon continually reinvents itself.

And then there are those hats! They don't get more extravagant than this. It's worth going just to see how the cast can balance those enormous hats on their head. Wild costumes are a given but they can't out do the hats.

The Show premiered at the Savoy Tivoli in San Francisco's North Beach, June 1974. Beach Blanket Babylon's popularity forced it to move to larger venue: Club Fugazi, a North Beach landmark.
